KPTCL Junior Engineer, Assistant Engineer & Junior Assistant recruitment:
APTITUDE TEST:
KPTCL Syllabus
i) An online Aptitude Test of two (2) hours duration will be conducted for 100 marks with multiple choice answers. Each question will carry One (1) mark. There will be negative marking and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be no marks for unanswered questions.
ii) The online question paper will be in English version only for Group A & B Posts (Assistant Executive Engineer (Elec.) & Assistant Engineer (Elec./Civil)] and Group-C post [ Junior Engineer (Elec./Civil)].
iii) The candidates who have applied for the post of Junior Assistant, questions for the Computer Literacy will be provided in English Only. The Questions for General Awareness and Aptitude will be provided in both English and Kannada. In General English/General Kannada, 20 marks each for Kannada & English.
iv) Candidates will have to appear for the Online Aptitude Test of the following preferred centres:
- Bengaluru
- Mysuru
- Davanagere
- Mangalore
- Hubli Dharwad
- Belagavi
- Kalaburagi
- Ballari
v) Candidates may prefer any one of the centre noted above for appearing for the online Aptitude Test. Efforts will be made to accommodate the candidates in the preferred centre based on the availability of necessary infrastructure. In case of inability to consider their preference, other test centre will be allotted. If required, the management may conduct the Aptitude Test at districts other than the districts noted above. Preference of the test centre exercised by the applicants shall not confer any right for allotment of the same. The candidate will have to appear for the Aptitude Test at the allotted centre and venue only. Any request for change of centre will not be entertained.
vi) List of eligible candidates for the online Aptitude Test along with other details viz., date, time & venue will be published in KPTCL/ESCOMs Web Site at a later date.
vii) The candidates will have to appear for the Aptitude Test at their own cost. :
