The candidates who will to join department of income tax, Government of India can  apply for Inspector of Income tax & Tax Assistant posts (Group C) through the Offline by filling prescribed application format which is released application format in official website of income tax department. The application should submit before the date 31.08.2022 by post/ hand.

Tax Assistant : Total Posts 04

Salary Scale: Income Tax Department Recruitment

Inspector of Income Tax: Rs. 9300-34800+AGP 4600 (As per 6th CPC)

Tax Assistant : Rs. 5200-20200+AGP 2400 (As per 6th CPC)

Eligibility Conditions: Income Tax Department Recruitment

Educational Qualification:

Inspector of Income Tax : Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent

Tax Assistant: Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent

Having Data entry Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour

Age limit: Income Tax Department Recruitment

Inspector of Income Tax : Minimum age limit 18 years, Maximum age limit 30 years

Tax Assistant: Minimum age limit 18 years, Maximum age limit 27 years

Relaxation of age:

The upper age limit is relaxed up to a maximum 5 years in the case of sports persons.

Departmental candidates with three years continuous service in central government can apply up to an age of 40 years.
