Brief Information:
State Bank of India has announced notification for engagement as apprentices under the Apprentice Act 1961. Total 6500 posts called from Any degree holders. Vacancies has distributed all states of the country. Candidates can apply for engagement in one state only. Candidates can appear for the examination only once under this engagement project.

State wise seats of apprentices, State wise Local languages, District wise training seats, Age, Education qualification, Duration of training, Training, Stipend, Selection Process, Examination Centres, Fees and other related parameters are mentioned below:
Age limit: (as on 31.10.2020)
Minimum Age limit : 20 years
Maximum Age limit: 28 years
(candidates must have been born not earlier than 01.11.1992 and not later than 31/10/2000 )(both days inclusive)
Relaxation of Upper age limit:
OBC : 3 years
SC/ ST : 5 years
PWD, Ex Serviceman will get age relaxation as per Government rules.
Educational Qualification:
Graduation from a recognised University/ Institute.
DURATION OF TRAINING:
Duration of training is of one year.
STIPEND/ BENEFIT:
The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.
WEIGHTAGE/RELAXATION IN RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR ASSOCIATES:
Weightage/Relaxation in recruitment of Junior Associates will be given to the apprentices who have successfully completed the Apprenticeship training in our Bank.

- The questions will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi, except for the test of General English. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer
- The online examination will be held in the month of August 2021 (Tentatively).
Fees & Intimation Charge:
General/ EWS/ OBC : Rs. 300/-
SC/ ST/ PWD: No fees
