Baba atomic research centre, Mysore released job notification for filling up various posts from the interested candidates. Barc invites application for the posts of Driver-Cum Pump Operator-Cum-Fireman/A and Sub Officer posts for recruiting through the direct recruitment

DRIVER-CUM -PUMP OPERATOR-CUM-FIREMAN/A:
Total Posts: 16
Salary scale: Rs. 21700/-+ allowance as admissible under Central Government Rules as admissible under Central Government Rules
Education: PUC/ 10+2 (Science with Chemistry Science with Chemistry) or equivalent with at least minimum 50% of marks
Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License with minimum one year
Physical Standards:

- Weight Weight : 50 Kgs. Minimum
- Chest Chest : 81 Cms. Normal
- Chest Chest : 86 Cms. Expansion
- Vision Vision : 6/6, without wearing glasses or any other aid.

Selection method: The selection process involves Physical Endurance Test, Driving Test and Written Test
Sub Officer:
Total posts: 4 (UR – 03, OBC – 01)
Salary scale: Rs. 35400/- + allowance as admissible under Central Government Rules
Educational Qualification: PUC (10+2) (Science with Chemistry) or equivalent with 50% marks plus passed Sub Officer’s Course from National Fire Service College. Persons having valid Heavy Vehicle driving license will be given preference.

- Weight : 50 Kgs. Minimum
- Chest : 81 Cms. Normal
- Chest : 86 Cms. Expansion
Age Limit:
Must have completed 18 years but not more than 40 years for unreserved candidates and 43 years for OBC candidates as on the last date of receipt of application.
AGE CRITERIA: Upper age limit prescribed are relaxable as under:
- Upto a maximum of 5 years for SC / ST candidates for the posts reserved for SC / ST.
- Upto a maximum of 3 years for OBC candidates for the posts reserved for OBC.
